Introducing our new Community Class Teacher Lily Gore! Lily will be teaching the month of July on Saturdays 11am to 12noon. Classes are $5 per person. We are excited to be the training ground for this passionate new yoga teacher! Lily has been practicing yoga on and off her whole life, but once she got serious about her practice in 2012, there was no looking back. A combination of growing up in the theater, sewing costumes and medical yoga therapy training has led her to her philosophy of “yoga for safety and self-expression.” Come to sessions with her to go deep into poses, form an honest and loving relationship with your body, and above all, move like yourself. Lily completed her 200 hours of yoga teacher training at Pure Yoga.

Introducing our new guest teacher, Robin Mele! Robin will be teaching Thursday night Power 8.15-9.15pm and subbing Akiko’s Saturday 4pm class for the month of July! Robin has always been a mover. Growing up as a tap, ballet, and jazz dancer, she was always the smallest girl in the class who compensated by making bigger movements. She was first exposed to yoga in high school, but mainly as a means to increase flexibility. Many years later, Robin rediscovered yoga and through teacher training, she dove deeper into the spiritual side of yoga, as well as human anatomy/kinesiology. Robin’s teaching emphasizes fun, body awareness, and acceptance of the body’s limitations. Robin completed her 200 hours of yoga teaching training at Yoga to the People.
